Our Practice

Nickel City Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Heather Sacks in 2012. That same year, the practice was awarded Best Veterinary Hospital by Buffalo Spree Magazine.

The veterinarians and staff at Nickel City Animal Hospital are committed to providing the best possible veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. We are continuously improving our facility with state-of-the-art equipment and the best resources available. All of our licensed staff regularly attend continuing education to keep up to date with all aspects of veterinary medicine.

We offer care for dogs and cats. Dr. Heather Sacks offers care exotics, avian, and small mammals, with limited availability.

In addition, we offer alternative therapies. Dr. Heather Sacks is certified in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and rehabilitation. Dr. Colleen Lyden is certified in acupuncture and rehabilitation. Technician, Leah, is certified in rehabilitation.
