Colleen Lyden, DVM, CVA, CCRP
Dr. Colleen Lyden grew up in northern Ohio riding her horses and competing in hunter/jumpers shows across the country. She later attended The Ohio State University (OSU) for undergraduate studies before earning a DVM degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduation, she completed an equine internship at Equine Services in Simpsonville, Kentucky, having the opportunity to work on different breeds of horses and disciplines. Returning back to Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Lyden had the opportunity to practice on both thoroughbred and standardbred race tracks working with Dr. Scott Shell. She completed veterinary acupuncture certification courses through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) in 2013.
Dr. Lyden is very excited to be part of the Nickel City Animal Hospital team and have the opportunity to expand her knowledge into small animals. We couldn't be happier to have her here!
